Sealing of joints in structures with pre-compressed permanently elastic multi-functional tape.

Clean the joint surface mechanically. The subsurface needs to be dry, free of dust, loose bits, oils, greases or other contamination which could act as release agent. Joint tolerances of over 50% of the lowest value are to be leveled out in a suitable manner.

Delivery and installation of a permanently elastic, multi-functional tape, pintaband 3complete Renova, self-adhesive on one side, pre-compressed ex-factory. Manufactured and tested according to the quality standards DIN EN 18542 and DIN 4102. Impregnated with a polyacrylate causing a delayed recovery.
The sealing tape is compatible with all common building materials.
The tape possesses the following qualities:
- Free of plasticizers(softening agents), heavy metal, chlorine, bitumen, fibers, CFC, formaldehyde, PCB and emissions
- Fire class B1 according to DIN 4102
- Water vapor permeable and sound absorbing
The tape is delivered on rolls, over 20% pre-compressed and correctly dimensioned according to the joint width. An installation not complying with the predefined recommendations is not permitted. Tape width at least twice the pre-compressed tape thickness.
